~Marin Brooks, entry 5, the fireside~
I love Sulani firesides, they are always lively and a good time. The fire was roaring, which was nice because spring nights in Sulani were a tad chilly, and perfect to perfect my fire dancing skills. Everyone was there and it was a great time. Atoni and I had a marvelous time and I chatted with people that were quickly turning into my friends here. I really needed to fix up my place some more to entertain people. Maybe by the summer I can throw a few beach parties. I’ll be honest, I never expected to be WANTING to host get-togethers, that was more my Mom’s thing, but I really wanted to. Maybe my Mom and I were more alike than I think.
I tried to write the email here, with the warm ocean breeze lifting my bangs. Honestly, I tried. My fingers choked up on me after three sentences. I can’t do it, not right now. I hope I can soon.
