This tree must have got struck at least 3 times in the 20 minutes we stood there, while constantly being bombarded by CG‘s from the mesocyclone. I would have loved to leave the car and take epic photos but with that incredible barrage raining down on us even opening the window would have been stupid - The next target could have been us. sitting in the dark, listening to the perfect storm occurring right outside my window.

i feel very complete right now. everything that went wrong this past year has fixed itself. i'm in a very content place right now, and for some reason this storm just feels so perfect in the midst of it all.
