bald (peeled) Abel I drew for @bogor-o yesterday as per his birthday request!!
Abel kinda slays without their wool, even if they seem a bit shy about it. Their Narinder definitely approves, though he is madly in love with them (even in their gay pre-marriage divorce era).
Ferry, however... her getting bald/peeled is a plot point in the au. :)

My friends, my followers, it's finally here! Welcome to the start of A Tail of Two Godlings, my Cult of the Lamb au that will be following Abel and Feronia (when she appears)!
Praise the Lamb, conduit to great power, promised liberator of the One Who Waits below.
Yet sacrificial beast, take heed; for a Crown cannot sit upon two brows.

Abel’s life was full of constant fear and strife. Their family taken from them while they slept. Their village burned to the ground as their best and only friend dragged them out of their burning childhood home to safety. They were both young; no older than 10 at the time, when the Bishops of the Old Faith discovered the hidden village of sheepfolk and brought them to the slaughter.
They were 28 when they were finally captured. Their only friend, Thorn, had given their hiding location away, enticed with the promises of salvation that would never come. Led to the slaughter, their eyes filled with tears with memories they would never make, experiences they would never have. Stopping only when being forced to, they raised their head only briefly to gaze upon the four Gods before them before kneeling with a resigned sigh.
This was it.
“Before us stands the last of its kind. All others we have hunted down and put to the blade.” Heket sneered through the Yellow Crown, her throat bandaged and bleeding black ichor and preventing her from using it. Her eyes upon the last Lamb felt like lasers burning into their skin, and they dared not look up to meet her gaze.
“With this final sacrifice, the prophecy will be impossible to fulfill.” Kallamar warbled, his ears clearly ripped from his head. His voice boomed louder than the rest, echoing throw the area and making them jump ever so slightly. Despite sounding so powerful, Abel dared to believe that they heard a heavy hint of fear in their voice. Why that would be, they didn’t know.
"The heretic who lies bound below will be condemned to eternal captivity.” Leshy’s voice was scratchier, almost reminding them of the sound of scratching bark. Though it was not as distinct as the others, it was still just as powerful. His gaze seemed to be off in the distance, and from the look Abel had of his face, it would have been safe to assume that his eyes were torn from his head.
“And the Old Faith shall be preserved.” Shamura’s voice was the most striking out of the four. Soft but firm, with only The slightest hint of uncertainty detectable. Their bandaged head lead to questions in Abel’s mind; just what had happened to all four of them to start this slaughter? Why sheepfolk? Why them? They knew none of their questions would be answered, and besides…
They were out of time.
With the executioner drawing near, and the words of the Bishops ringing through their head, all they could do was clench their fists and close their eyes with tears streaming down their face as the blade came down on their neck.
thinking about my au and how my Narinder wears long clothes post indoctrination to hide the fact that he's skin and bones. but once he starts getting healthier and filling out his clothes, he realizes that he just really likes wearing skirts and dresses a lot. in fact, when he and Abel propose to each other, he requests to wear a wedding dress with a veil bc he wants to feel pretty
he ends up becoming a very feminine leaning he/they, at first being anxious about it since he was a powerful god, then slowly mellowing out after time, especially after becoming a girl dad to ferry and his eventual shittens with Abel
