The water was warm today. It swarmed around his tail, lapping and foaming with the incoming tide. Arthur stretched out, lying in the sand. Today was a lazy day. He had feasted on a few sailors during the last storm (although they were easy overboard catches, food was food) and his stomach was plenty comfortable to allow for some laziness. Besides, with the warm sun on his face and the cool, frothy water in his tail, he wanted nothing more than to lie on this beach forever. Thankfully, it was deserted, except for the occasional gull. His finger traced a small circle in the sand, before the etching was washed away in another salty spray.
Beginning to hum a ditty he'd overheard on a pirate ship a few months back, he spread out his arms in the sand, not caring if he got a bit dirty. His head tilted up a bit, lips curling up in a smirk as he saw the dolphin pod fishing in the slightly deeper water a few metres away. They grew lax when he was around, knowing he could just push them off any sandbanks they got stuck on. Having arms was incredibly convenient, it was astounding was opposable thumbs could do. Still, even with thumbs, humans were such idiots compared to the sea creatures Arthur dwelled with.

"'Are we on camera?' asked Metzger dryly." -The Crying of Lot 49
At first he hadn't noticed the camera in Kiku's hands, too preoccupied with giving one of the translators working the meeting a scathing remark during their break. When he finally did notice, he raised an eyebrow, turning to Kiku, "Is that a camera?"
*slides a note under his door because he thinks he might cry if he sees him He feels really guilty*
*Arthur's hands curl around the paper, eyes desperately skimming the words*
*sorta freezes and stares at him wide eyed, shocked and trembling* A-Anton...?
*small smile* M-Mom...?
atroublesomeflower replied to your post:Times up.
Kiku looked at him, not understanding why the other looked pale.
He forced a smile, not wanting to let his love know the fate in store...
Can't sleep
I wonder if Kiku would enjoy going to the opera...
