I'm a pretty affectionate person, and with special people, i can have a relationship that's strictly platonic, but people would think we're dating

for example

bokuto.

and this would be fun

because bokuto and i are super close friends

and i can just imagine

going to visit the jackals to surprise tsumu, and see bo because we haven't seen each other in a while

and pls bokuto and i would be so loud and excited and we would hug so much and do all sorts of stupid things

and then atsumu would just sulk in a corner

and we wouldn't even know it

but it gets better when at some point he decides that he's had enough

so he comes and snatches me away from bokuto

okay so this one is a bit unorthodox but at the same time i think it would be cute

meet the atsulia pen pals au

okay let me just spam bullets here and it will make sense

so this story begins when you step onto a chatting site and you look for someone to talk to befriend people >>> we'll say your username was oceandahlia like your old url and then you begin chatting to someone with the username thebestsetter105 >> so you began striking up a conversation, but you're still not completely sure who this person is >> what you're able to discern from the conversation is that he's a boy, his last name is miya, he is a setter in volleyball, and you two are the same age

the two of you hit it off spectacularly, and spent hours talking to each other every day, learning more and more about each other the more you spoke >> through this you also learned his first name, atsumu, and that he had a twin brother named osamu

now the two of you chatted, but never video/voice called, or anything of that sort — you two were also highschool students, with you going to karasuno and him obviously going to inarizaki >> you two were far from each other, and the two of you crossing paths was a chance that was barely existent due to this

but luckily for you, you do end up meeting.....and guess where......NATIONALS!!! so we've said this before, but for the sake of this universe, you are going to be a karasuno manager so that you have a chance to join these guys and also be able to take stats on the game <3 >>> so you arrive there, and have to go and fill up their waterbottles, when suddenly, you smack into this really solid chest from a guy who is maybe a few inches taller than you

you take the moment to recuperate, and he also apologizes before taking the time to look at you

and as customary for any atsulia au, this man is FLOORED by you

he goes, and i quote in his head, "oh shit — pretty girl"

so anyway, the two of you just kind of stand there for a moment before you see the logo of inarizaki in the distance with colors that matched tsumu's jacket

and then you do the "math" and you go .... "are you from inarizaki?"

he is obviously proud, but at the same time a little bit discouraged because, well, you're not one of his notoriously known fangirls

anyways, he nods at this and introduces himself as ATSUMU MIYA #7 AND SETTER EXTRAORDINAIRE and then you are shocked because.... could this be the boy you were talking to the whole time?

so you laugh and then you introduce yourself as Lia, Karasuno's VBC manager, and he is like.... wait a second.....THIS IS YOU

needless to say, neither of you expected to meet in this way, or expected the other to be so damn attractive, but you two were able to laugh and hit it off immediately

you already knew the atsumu behind the assured and cocky persona of his, so he was instantly able to put down his walls and it was adorable

and for the sake of this au and the pure convenience of it all, koulia platonic arc as well because fukurodani is also at nationals >> you see bokuto and ran up to him because you two met when you were younger under some miscellaneous circumstance that you can fill in and you two have a very cute convo

and atsumu is kind of standing there like :| but he won't be possessive until later :>

and depending on if you want me there or not, to which i say, ykw screw it i am >> i would be fukurodani's manager and you obviously know me and me and keiji are both over here and chatting while all of this is going down (up to you to decide of it's an established relationship or not)

and then atsulia is thrown out there with the two of you exchanging numbers and planning meetups until you fall in love <33

as for me and keiji, there are three possibilities
