@attacherbullet ★ –;; First, Vash breathes; in, then out, in, then out, silence. His focus narrows to a pinpoint, both hyper-aware of the sounds of movement around him but eyes aimed with precision on their target. There’s a sound of a twig cracking under the weight of something nearby but he ignores it; the silence in the Mistwood is never really complete, anyway.
Inhale.
There’s a split moment, a blink, and then six booms pierce the silence– the sound echoing through the trees for what feels like an eternity before fading into the distance. They bury the sounds of empty bullet shells plinking against the pile at his feet; a veritable lake of them blanketing the forest floor around him.
Exhale.
The target on the other end of the clearing only has three holes borne into it; one through the shoulder, one through the hip, and one through the side.
