NEW RULE: When you are in the SNK AU audio play theater you must not verbally say Marco Bott as it is bad luck. As an alternative you can say Barco Mott, Baby Bott, or Mac Daddy. If the name is said out loud, the AU will only be half as successful. The only exception is when you're recording your lines, or if you play the freckled boy himself. In the event that someone does speak the name, the effects can be reversed if someone says "Polo" within ten seconds of the name being spoken. If this has failed to happen, you can record yourself reading JeanMarco smut and post it on tumblr, or alternatively, do a live reading of it in a skype call.

Important Script Writing Update
Because of the extremely limited number of auditions, we are changing our guidelines for script writing auditions. We are opening up our requirements on format, so you can submit any form of writing that displays your understanding of character and atmosphere building along with realistic dialogue. The deadline is June 28th at 11:00PM EST, so if you have some kick-ass fiction and like the idea of writing with us, send in that puppy so we can read that fine prose. -A.i.
Can the script format for the audition be a script for a play?
Yes it can! While we would prefer it to be audio play oriented so we would be able to see how your handle sound queues, we’d be happy to accept stage play scripts. Just be sure to include some stage direction so we can see how you handle creating an environment for the audience outside of just the dialogue, and some parentheticals so we can see your understanding of directing character action.
A PSA About Anon Hate
While we have yet to really get any, I felt it would probably be a good idea to nip this in the bud. At Attack on Kitchen, we strive to be professional, and both Lillian and I are working our probably-flatter-than-average asses off to keep our project organized and moving forward. We'd love to get constructive criticism, but the moment constructive criticism jumps over the fence into hate territory, we're going to get out the popcorn. I cannot speak for Lillian, but I personally find it hilarious that those who dislike a project spend the most time in its ask box composing uninspired hateful messages. I honestly feel terrible that people will be taking all this time to write these messages for us to just, (taking a page out of Jay-Z's book,) brush our shoulders off, so we've prepared a tag just for those asks that have truly warmed our hearts with their impertinent glow. If you see an ask labeled "USDA Prime Asshole," you are looking at an ask that has found its way into our Anon Hate Hall of Fame. Bask in its malignant glory. -A.i.
