An attack dog, lost
Continued from here with @gauntlets-shot (You don't have to respond, but Jinx had something she wanted to say)
“Right. More to me, heh. Like chaos, and violence.” Rolling her eyes Jinx scoffed shaking her head as for once she actually took a step away from Vi, and that hand reaching for her. As far as she was concerned Vi had to either be lying, or misunderstanding who she was so thoroughly that it made no real difference. “Which means it’s not anything anyone actually wants now is it?” She wasn’t anything anyone else actually wanted, not anymore, not with Silco gone. Just a hound off it’s leash. An attack dog without someone to guide it, and point it at an appropriate target. An inventor whose life had ensured she leaned more towards weapons than anything else, and yet who was chastised more often than not for doing exactly what she’d spent her entire life doing.
If they didn’t want the monster to be a monster perhaps they should not have taught her to be such.
Silco had made the monster stronger, but he hadn’t created it.
Head tilting for a second, and blinking Jinx let out a harsh laugh. “That’s funny. So I’m “meant to make a difference”, and am powerful and smart but than you put yourself on the side that wants to cage me.” Stepping back her arms swept out indicating the chompers, small animatronics that no doubt held bombs within themselves, and various other weapons to be surrounding them as she spun around waving at all of it. “Oh come on! I’ve been making bombs since we were children! ALL I’VE EVER MADE WAS WEAPONS SO WE COULD FIGHT BACK! This is all I am. This is all I’ve ever been. What I’ve done up until now? I’ve eliminated over twenty enforcers by myself easily, bombed the council chambers, killed firelights, invented weapons, removed Silco’s enemies, and am still going. So ya I’m meant to make a difference. It’s just that that difference is written in blood, gunpowder, and bright blue fancy magicky crystals.”
Hands landing by her sides Jinx shook her head staring at Vi. “So you tell me Vi. If all of this is only the beginning what’s the future hold?” What’s the future hold, and how soon until you come to stop me?
