He had to pass his geography test in order to graduate. The guys helped him study but he got an F. So now he's pretty much set to not graduate. He wanted to graduate to prove he was better than his Dad and so Beth wouldn't be ashamed of him, and now basically they've just made it so he's the fuck up he believes he is.
