So shooting lightning can be pretty hard to do, a lot of it is luck that youre in the right place at the right time with your camera on and firing. I use a few different apps to help guide me to the right places but mother nature has a mind of her own. This day she must have decided that I had put in the work and was due for a reward. Most days I just end up soaking wet and cold. Because shooting lightning is hard it is very rewarding when it all lines up. I was telling a friend that I don't know what stoked me out more. Getting a cover shot on a magazine (stoke level is really high for that) or getting a killer lightning shot.
