Coffee is not breakfast.
Everyone knows breakfast is essential to starting your day, increasing metabolism and allowing your mind to focus. Unfortunately, most days I forego this crucial meal. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE breakfast, BUT weekdays are hard...I consciously stifle my morning hunger with a big coffee. I know this only causes agitation and increased hunger, yet I do it anyway. Recently I challenged myself to begin eating what I call a power breakfast: fruit, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and detox tea. I found that I would do this maybe 3 out of 5 work days...
My solution: Weekly prepared breakfasts in mason jars.
What's in this power breakfast?
1/4 C Organic Frozen Blueberries
1/4 C Organic Frozen Raspberries
1/2 C Old Fashioned Oats
1 Container 0% Fat Greek Yogurt (added after cooking oatmeal/fruit)
