You know those people who are the personification of everything wrong with the world? That’s Atticus Cole. He grew up with a jackass of a father and a mother who was far too out of her depths. She tried to raise him right, held a wooden spoon in her hand to threaten him each time he misbehaved. Better her than his father really. That was their golden rule. Whatever you do, don’t let your father know. Eventually it stopped working out. Maybe it had something to do with him bashing a bottle in his fathers head. And maybe that was what prompted his mother to kick him out when his father gave her the ultimatum. Between her drop out son and the man who payed the bills, was there really any choice in the matter? Now he lives in someone’s basement, comes and goes only to sleep really, steals what he can, and floats through life doing everything wrong.
