Deadly blast at Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England

At least 22 people were killed and more than 59 injured in an explosion at the end of a concert by U.S. singer Ariana Grande in the English city of Manchester on Monday and two U.S. officials said a suicide bomber was suspected.

Prime Minister Theresa May said the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack. If confirmed, it would be the deadliest militant assault on Britain since four British Muslims killed 52 people in suicide bombings on London’s transport system in July 2005.

Police responded to reports of an explosion shortly after 10:35 pm (2135 GMT) at the arena, which has a capacity for 21,000 people, and where the U.S. singer had been performing to an audience that included many children. (Reuters)

Párizs

Szörnyű, ami történt, bele se tudok gondolni a párizsi merénylet áldozatainak utolsó perceibe, a hozzátartozók gyászának mértékébe, a francia nép sokkjába. DE! Semmi értelmét nem látom ennek a mostani túlérzékenységnek, ami most végigsöpör Magyarországon. Előadások, bálok, koncertek maradnak el az együttérzés jegyében. Minek? Szegény áldozatokat nem hozza vissza, ha most nem megyünk el egy régóta várt bulira, koncertre, nem leszünk kevésbé együttérzőek, ha most arra a pár órára elfelejtjük, vagy legalábbis félrerakjuk a világ borzalmait. A gyász ideje nem akkor van, sem a helyük. Erre külön fórumok vannak. Átestünk a túloldalra. Ezeket a fb képeket sem értem. A madridi terrortámadásnál miért nem voltatok spanyolok, a londoni robbantásoknál hol voltak a brit zászlók a profilképeteken? A bostoni robbantásoknál az USA zászlót sem láttam, a kanadai lövöldözés után sem láttam a kanadai zászlót egyikőtöknél sem, az orosz gép robbanásakor sem láttam orosz zászlókat, a lelőtt maláj gép után sem láttam a profilotokon változást, sem az egyiptomi vérengzés után... Amikor az ISIS teljes városokat pusztított el, általános iskolákat lőttek szét, hol voltak az adott országok, nemzetiségek zászlai? Nem azt mondom ezzel, hogy a párizsi áldozatok nem érdemlik meg, és nem bagatelizálom el ezt a rettenetes bűntettet, de akkor is túlzásnak érzem. Vagy minden ilyen cselekedet elítélünk ilyen hevességgel, vagy egyet sem!
