Hi so first of all lemme just say that I have been a Sirius girlie for well over a decade, but avoided the Marauders fandom due to how toxic it looked...until I discovered your fic!!! I have been trying to find a canon compliant Sirius pov that would properly destroy my soul forever and yours was everything I ever hoped and dreamed. I've never been a big fanfiction person and have never even read the OG atyd, but this was just perfection (and yes imma go back and read the OG now). I can ramble on all day about how perfect it is and how fucking grateful I am that it exists, but i do have one teensy request:
The way you write Regulus is also perfection. I LOVED his 2 pov bits that you have and every scene he was in just shattered me. Perhaps you've been asked this before, but if not I shall ask it now. Would you ever consider writing Regulus's death scene from his pov??? Just a little short story of him going to the cave. And if I'm being dumb and you already have then please link it cuz I'm dying to read that. He's such a tragically complex character and you captured him so perfectly I would trust you the most in writing something like that from his pov :)

& i don’t think i’ll ever write out a regulus death scene pov that’s set in like. the atyd universe lol bc to be honest regulus isn’t a character i care about very much outside of his relationship to sirius 🫣 that being said this ask did ring a bell in my head & i went back & found a little drabble from an ask game two years ago where i briefly write his death from his own pov so if you’d like to read that i’ll link it here
