I've always hated april fool's day (april 1st is like the thunderdome for kids who were being bullied in school lol) but in recent years it has been a delight for two reasons:

HIII i hope you're still active on here but i have a question!! at the end of ep 408 Mark (episode 48), there's a great piano piece that plays into the credits/main theme... im about 98% sure its not the full main theme since it has a longer intro. it's so beautiful and very haunting and i'd really like to be able to listen to it w/ out the credits :) is this available anywhere online 😭 pls im so desperate <3 thank u

Hello! We are still active on here, though not as much as we used to be! All the music in our show is composed by the brilliant Evan Cunningham, including all the credits music.

And yes, you can get it! Currently, the only way to download all of The Bright Sessions credits music is by becoming a plus pal. For $10/month you get all that music, the entire scores for The AM Archives and The College Tapes, and tons of other stuff that's exclusive to the pals! (and pssst, all plus pals get downloads of those things that they keep forever, so if you wanted to join for a month and pay 10 bucks for all that and then dip out, you totally could! I think it's a pretty fun community to be a part of though, so I hope you stick around if you do join!)

Ok, I feel dumb for asking this, but I am just bamboozled.. I've recently been binging TBS and TCT, on Spotify (love both btw) but, it seems like people. . . know things, about episodes of TCT that haven't been released yet (as far as I can tell??) maybe I'm missing something but it seems like both Luminary and Spotify are on the same release schedule, soooo I guess I am wondering what am I missing?? (because I am an impatient person and if there is some way to listen to all 20 episodes without waiting a week in between I will definitely want to do that..)

This is not a dumb question at all!!

So, basically, both The AM Archives and The College Tapes were released on Luminary, in their entirety in 2019 and 2020 respectively. So those that were subscribers on Luminary during that time have already heard all of The College Tapes because we released it initially in October of 2020.

Buuuut when we completed our contract with Luminary earlier this year, we were then allowed to release the episodes widely! So that's what we've been doing weekly all year. Because a lot of our dedicated, long-listening fans had subscribed to Luminary originally, they know how it alllll ends.

There is a way to listen to all 20 episodes right now, and that's to become an annual plus pal in the Atypical Artists membership program! You also get to be a part of our awesome discord community, get access to downloads (like scripts, bloopers, original score, etc. etc.) It is the priciest option (100 bucks right off the bat - it's a year-long subscription at the $10 tier) but you get access to an ad-free RSS feed with both The AM Archives and The College Tapes in their entirety right away!

I hope this makes sense? It's so wild and amazing that new folks are finding the show/getting back into the show that I keep forgetting that not everyone knows the deal! Thanks so much for asking!!
