And There You Were || Teddison
"Addison! You idiot," I fall to the ground after he punches me in the stomach. My body went flying to the ground because I only stood 4 feet 8 inches. I laid there on the floor crying and coughing up blood as he continue to curse at me. I really messed up this time. I shouldn't have made him so angry. This is usual; I just lay here until he goes away. He'll leave, right? He won't hit me again if I just lay here. He yells at me to stop crying and I try; I try so hard because I don't want to me hurt again but I can't. "Addison!", he pulls me up from the floor by my hair.
"Captain, you're hurting me!", I scream. I try to somewhat get him back. The alcohol has consumed him now. He slaps me in my face because I yelled at him and continued to cry. "Daddy, you're hurting me. You're eight year old daughter, daddy." I don't know if what I said helped but he let me go. He threw me to the ground really and I laid there crying as he walked away. I blacked out but when I started to open my eyes again, there was this constant noise.
There's a beeping as I open my eyes. I don't realize that it's Ainsley monitor until I realize where I was. I fell asleep with Ainsley on her bed after I told myself that I wasn't. It was just a dream. I can relax a little now that I've woken up. The beeping shuts off as I look up and see Teddy fumbling with the machine. I wipe the sleep out of my eyes, "Hey," I smile up to her, "I didn't mean to fall asleep." I wonder how long she's been here but instead of asking I just sit up and reach my arms out to her like a child. I wanted to be held and not just by anybody; by her. "What time is it?" I ask after we embrace.
