Currently throwing ideas onto a Zelda AU and so far the Link civilian design is pretty much done, I didn't changed anything lol
He's based on Atreyu from Neverending Story, Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke and a liiiiiiiitle bit of Hiccup Haddock and Sheeta? from Castle i the Sky
I don't have much planned but he's a hunter borned near the Farone forest (or whatever is called in english, I'm a spanish speaker and I know the goddess and places are named diferent). The idea I'm having is that the Hyrule castle is near the Lanayru region which will be filled with bodies of water and a big ocean, Link, Zelda and Ganon will have a special blessing from their goddess and Link knows very little about his Hero heritage but haves a collar of it with the triforce and maybe some key to the Master Sword location
Zelda is a calm and curious girl who's a little disconected from the outside world and Link didn't trust her at first with their destiny, but slowly those two learn to live a better life together before The Horrors
