wardenofthearcane liked this post for a starter
...he hadn't made a blunder like that since he was in his thirties.
This was the thought that idly ran through Baron's head as he
watched birds squawk and fly away from the tree he was perched
in, and squirrels angrily chatter at him before scurrying away.
Really, he had just been trying to create a little heat source.
He hadn't intended for a flash of that brightness to occur.
Oh well, at least he was warm now. Though the snow upon
the branches of his tree was now melting, and dripping on him.
There also was the issue that the bright light he had created
may have attracted some unwanted attention. If it had...well,
he supposed he could only hope that it was pleasant unwanted
attention. He didn't feel like testing how well his cane held up
in this cold.
