Good Girl/Bad Boy AU || Izzy and Ethan
Izzy clutched onto the straps of her backpack as she walked out of the large school building, her chestnut brown ponytail bobbing from side to side. Pushing back her large, rectangular-framed glasses from the end of her nose, she chewed on her lesser lip out of habit as her eyes scanned the horizon. Izzy had always been someone to follow the rules, get perfect grades, lead almost every extracurricular club, and still manage to play three instruments. In addition to that, she was somehow the class president and head cheerleader. She was what some would call "perfect". And although that's how everyone else viewed her, Izzy sometimes thought the complete opposite and so she would push herself to try harder in everything to attain her own perception of "perfection". The countless hours spent on trying to be the best in almost everything resulted in a lack of experience of real life. She was in her senior year of high school and yet she hadn't even had her first kiss. She reassured herself there would be time later in life to take risks and make rash decisions, but what she hadn't realized was that in the midst of everything else, she'd forgotten how to have fun.
As she neared a rather sketchy alley that she needed to pass in order to get to her new house, she quickly pulled out her phone, flipping through her infinite notifications in an attempt to mask her reflex feeling of fear. Walking briskly through the narrow alley, she not once looked up from her phone, ultimately causing her to collide into another body that she'd failed to notice. The frame was taller, more muscular, and as she bumped bodies with the assumed male, she looked up immediately, a slightly frazzled expression on her face. "Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry."
