Ahh, more treasure to add to his collection.
The dragon; with scales of a light gold in colour, flecked with whites and silvers, waddled along his cave on two legs. Clutched in his hands was an assortment of silver cutlery he had ‘swiped’ from a couple having a romantic picnic. Of course, they weren’t looking at the time.
Evans couldn’t allow himself to be caught.
His cave was filled with an assortment of items. Most would think it was junk; but Evans believed every last thing was treasure. Things to be cherished. But, truth be told, most of it was junk. Old kitchen appliances, random pieces of metal. Even some teddy bears that looked as if they had seen better days.
Well, the small dragon still found them precious.
Raising his slim head, Evans began to sniff at the air. Noticing an unfamiliar scent wafting into his home. An intruder?
Evans couldn’t be having this.
Wings clutched tightly to his sides, he slowly turned himself around, blue eyes wide and alert as he moved towards the mouth of his cave; hidden behind various bushes and shrubs. It wasn’t exactly easy to find. And so, Evans couldn’t help but be cautious when someone got too close.
