“I mean, me neither, but that’s what happens when you get decked!” Jojo laughed, a little hysterically. More blood slipped out of his nose and down his face. The white logo on his otherwise black shirt was starting to turn red. He sighed a put a hand up against his nose. “I’d just cauterize it but I don’t exactly burn…”

Sam spluttered as she tried to figure out a decent explanation for how exactly she had been able send out a shockwave of energy to knock back the people had been stalking her. But her brain just wouldn’t allow her to think, and really, was their any kind of explanation for that other than the obvious?

She sighed and gave the stranger a defeated look. “Okay, fine, it’s pretty obvious how I did that. Please don’t call the police, or-or SHIELD! I’m too young to go to jail, I’m only seventeen, and this was self defense, okay?”
