Yifan never believed in love. He believed you only found something like “true love” in fairytales with princesses and villains, and that that's exactly where It needed to stay. And yet, when Park Wesley quite literally ran into him, he never expected to fall as hard as he did. Honestly, he never expected to fall at all. The raven was beyond awkward that was for sure. “Ah, I’m so sorry! May I buy you another cup of coffee?” Yifan had pushed the younger man’s napkin filled hands away from his stained shirt, scowling. “No, it’s cool I—” “I insist, really!” Somehow— Yifan still doesn’t know why— the brunette had ended up having coffee that day with Wesley. Much to his surprise they had clicked despite how different their personalities were, and the next thing he knew, Yifan was the one asking the raven out to coffee. “Well, well, it looks like a princess has caught Prince Yifan's eye at last!” Yifan's best friend Jongdae had cooed later that night over the phone, cackling at the death threats that were thrown back at him in response. But that’s enough flashbacks, let’s get back to the present. And that currently was Wesley and Yifan sitting out on the balcony of Yifan's apartment, curled all nice and cozy in their comforter staring up into the clear night sky. “You know something, Fanny? I figure we’re kind of like The Princess and The Frog, sometimes.” Wesley murmured, tearing his eyes away from the stars to gaze at the brunette. Yifan's eyes trailed to Wesley's, tilting his head questioningly. Wesley moved to kiss Yifan but the way he shifted, he ended up head butting the brunette in the nose. “Owww! Tch—Wesley!” Yifan jerking back, hands covering his nose, as he whined. “Oh god, I’m sorry, Yifan! Let me see—” Wesley's eyebrows furrowed worriedly as he leaned in closer to inspect the damage. “Got’cha, punk.” Yifan pulled his hands away from his face, revealing a cheesy grin. Wesley's eyes widened and he punched a chuckling Yifan in the arm. “You! Why would you—” But Yifan swallowed Wesley's question with the soft pressure of his lips, slipping a hand to the back of Wesley's neck. After a moment they pulled away from each other, letting their foreheads rest against one another’s. With a grin Yifan replied, “I’m not a frog anymore—now I’m a prince.”
