It is geting old and cheapier. It's all about to give a hope (Quinn is alive) but in the same time to scare some of viewers with some sentenses were given. Shape and Form -ok. Showrunners are playing audience with these words Shape. he was top- trained in form guy, Top- blackopp who could kill without having a weapon. His reactions were incredibly fast. He was like World champion in this sport)) So, what showrunners mean. They ref. to his abbility (or of course luck off, obv.) to fight, to run fast, to have fast reactions etc "Form" could be the same, or form means HUGE PTSD?, obv. out of black opps. or even CIA. They are all manipulators. Obv. he will never be the same. I never thought he will be after what I saw at 5.10. I still think that they did not mention severe BRAIN damage for a reason. severe damaged - yes. But it could be anything. I think there will be some (most of them NON permanent) cognitive functions problems. Problems with moves coordinations, losing balance etc. Some of them could be restored by hard work. I totally can see Quinn struggling to express himself with a words for some time (it is when You know what this thing means, but cant remember word for it) - also could be restored with hardworkm though not 100%. And of course MOOD SWINGS, mental unstability. Showrunners know Quinn is the most popular character in Homeland. Who would care that much if that happened to Saul or Dar? Carrie? I don't know. Cause she is a protagonist. But same people have made her highly unsympatetic character in season 5. Showtime wants media buzz, so they've chosen dramatic words to continue that buzz.
