After living with the KZ Acoustics Gales for the last few months, they've been pretty okay, really good sound quality but I dont like how they fit in my ears and the useless LED in the DAC chip drains my battery really quickly. I ordered some KB Ears KS1s and theyre already miles more comfortable and fit in my ears great. the sound quality is comparable too, im gonna live with these for a bit before I make my final decision, but i think the KB Ears are gonna win.

I miss my old tablet (I broke it and it was quite old and slow) mostly bc it had some nice mellowed out speakers

When I bought my new phone I immediately noticed how tinny the speakers were, and how it has some distortion on some songs when I play it at full volume

Maybe this is bc my tablet had Dolby sound on it. I guess I'll have to test the quality difference if I can get Dolby or similar on this phone.

so i was just listening to a really well done vinyl rip in 24-bit FLAC through my good pair of headphones and i think i briefly got sensory overload. it felt like the music was tickling my eardrums and i felt a very light headache coming on. also, it’s worth mentioning that i’m dead sober. this was a first for me and well, it was something. (i lead a very interesting lifestyle and i’m glad i got to share it with you. thanks for tuning in if any of you actually bothered to read this)
