it's dumb, but my favorite part of talking to someone is when they say my name. Like wow, a little part of your brain literally fired thousands of millions of neurons from your auditory nerves to the control center in your brain, and then went to your hippocampus and turned that short term memory that last 7 seconds plus or minus two, and converted it into a long term memory for later... It's cute that you went through all that trouble, on top of keeping your heart beating and lungs breathing and your internal homeostasis stable, you shouldn't have! <3 *take a second to thank your brain for all it does for you in a day*
