My best advice, as someone who deals with people’s opinions constantly, tell hope not to engage with them or any posts. You guys have a job to do and as long as you’re doing it well, it doesn’t matter what people say. Sometimes there is truth to what people are saying, not saying in this situation, and it can trigger some self reflection which can be a positive thing for your own improvement. But people are always going to talk, especially parents and especially those who think they’re above others. You just have to block it out and keep doing what you’re doing. As long as you’re doing a good job, that’s what’s important. Don’t give a dumb gossip blog with no credibility all this power over you- Milo
Thank you for the advice handsome and reminding me of my confidence. I guess I tried to block it out the best I could until yesterday... it doesn't feel great when you're the topic of conversation... but you're right I shouldn't let it have power over and affect me.. I'll talk with Hope too. You're right we just need to continue block them out and keep reminding ourselves we are doing a good job. As long as our dancers are happy then I'm happy as well. -Audrey

Well I guess some of you guys have been wondering and asking why I was/have been in a funk and why my day was hard today this is why😅 so little back story this blog has been basically around for a while and it really picked up when the studio really took off. It's like kinda a place where the " Karen " dance parents can go and complain and air out their grievances about the dance studio and blog owner runs with whatever they say . It's all anonymous and we don't know who runs or posts on it. And today I had a " Karen" parent that got upset and in my face with me because I wasn't fast enough addressing her concerns, her child's dance attire didn't come in on time , and she was upset because I was sitting down while addressing her instead of standing. Overall she just couldn't be satisfied. Anyway I guess she took this to the blog tonight because this is what blog link Hope sent me. Glad I could gives these people their 5 minutes of fame🙃-Audrey

💃 DANCE MOM ANONYMOUS
The dance world is buzzing after parents noticed a few changes happening behind the scenes at Dancing with Hope Studio.
The biggest topic of conversation?
How the front desk is being handled
Several moms have taken to social media questioning whether the studio is running the same way it always has, with some saying they’ve noticed longer wait times, slower responses, and a different atmosphere at the front desk.
Some anonymous parents told us:
Parent 1: “Audrey has always been sweet, but lately she seems exhausted. I don’t think anyone blames her for being pregnant, but it does make you wonder if the studio needs someone different out front.”
Parent 2: “I know she’s pregnant, but that shouldn’t mean everyone else has to wait longer to check in.”
Parent 3: “I’ve heard she’s one of the owners, which explains why nobody says anything.”
Of course, not everyone agrees.
Many parents have jumped to Audrey’s defense, saying she continues to go above and beyond for dancers and families.
One longtime studio family commented:
“Audrey remembers every dancer’s name, asks about their auditions, teaches each child with care, and makes every kid feel special. If she needs to sit down for a minute while growing a baby, I think we can handle that.”
Another says : " I’ve never had a bad experience with her. And she hasn’t slowed down her commitment to the studio, support in classes, in rehearsals, or competitions. If she takes an extra minute when she's in the front desk, that’s not a big deal.”
Another supportive parent comments : “A little grace goes a long way. She’s been nothing but welcoming to my family.”
Hope, the main owner, did reach out and wanted to provided a statement which reads:
“We appreciate everyone’s feedback. Audrey is doing a wonderful job, and we’re incredibly proud of her. Our team is always happy to help if there are any delays. We will also be happy to answer any questions or address any concerns you have in person. Thank you to those who’ve shown kindness and understanding.”
- Hope Ivers
But the question remains…
✨ Is this just a few unhappy parents looking for something to talk about?
Either way, one thing is clear: Dancing With Hope Dance Studio has a passionate community—and passionate parents always have something to say. 💃
