Now that the initial days of recovery from the surgery are over and the pain is pretty managed, I'm beginning to work on the Gateway Oracle. (It's a working title and might change eventually) I still need to figure out how they will be titled and some design elements, but I have the raw images to work with so that's enough for now. I'm looking forward to what will happen with this deck - it feels deep and expansive and like it will be a good vehicle for this metaphysical creativity mix I've got going on inside of me right now. #augenblickcartomancy #oracle

Y'all are probably going to getting snippets all week of the progress with this deck. I have one week left of medical leave from the surgery before I head back to work so I'm squeezing in as much library time as I can to focus on working on it. * Im trying to keep a light hold on it to allow it as much breathing room as I can so it can become what it needs to become. It seems to be headed in maybe a slightly different direction than my initial elevator pitch had it going. But the information that has been coming through is already knocking me on my ass so I think that's a GREAT sign. * This was the most surprising card from today. The Gateway Of the 4 Tenets of Matter. (Wtf! I don't even know what those are!) That's ok, though. The tarot has me covered. Here's what I've sussed out thus far: 1. There is no such thing as worthiness. There is no victory over man or thing. (You could say there is only victory over Self but that assumes separation from the All.) 2. You cannot change the law of matter (but your knowledge of such law may change). 3. There is no dominion over thought - the mind of man shall be ever free. 4. All things return to the One. The cost of return is experience. (!!!) this is going to be an interesting journey my friends! #augenblickcartomancy #augenblickgatewayoracle

Grabbing a few hours at the library to work on the deck. I shuffle it and pull the next card to work on instead of doing it in a particular order. Maybe my two favorite cards came up back to back - The Gateway of Misdirection (which may be named differently eventually) about a Gateway that turns out not to be a Gateway at all, and the Gateway of Repetition where we keep going through the same door expecting different results.
