"Come back here... You're not leaving without your coat." (This was a difficult choice. Didn't want to break hearts ahem.)
She's in mid stride when he calls after her and she freezes with a blank stare. Turning slightly around, Mako glances over her shoulder to spy the Sheriff holding her coat out for her. Oh, all right then.(Well, a small disagreement over something couldn't render a bit of concern, she supposes. It's not as if she hadn't been running out to simply end the conversation or anything.)Mako spins her heel, moving over to him. She faces him with raised eyebrows, a quiet and mutual understanding between them. Though that is familiar, something she can grasp with him. Shared presence. So Mako smiles and turns around, letting him help her with the coat, shrugging the black military issued overcoat fit on her."Thank you," she bows her head a little, eyes catching onto his very briefly before she begins back out the door again.
