Question :: How often do they feel doubt? What topics are they defensive about?
Not that often, but when it does Kou can go to the extremes! Like when he wanted to test Yui's love for him, he started doing lots of stupid shit, like throwing himself in front of a car, or setting the kitchen on fire [almost], ect... Even going as far as accidentally uhm... killing Yui. Great. I'm not sure if I'd say he'd get defensive about topics, but most of time rather than getting defensive he just... Erupts in anger? Like the time where Yui says that everything in the world is equal, even a spider so Kou wasn't technically "kind" or "tender" for releasing the butterfly that was trapped in the web, because... The spider needs to eat. He just thought it was bullshit, honestly. That his life was equal to something so /little/ as a spider. He even says all lives aren't equal, and... An insects fate is suppose to be trampled on by his own foot [cue Kou destroying the web and butterfly].
Supposedly, I think, in a sense... As someone who pretty much was trampled on, and hurt in their past, being treated like crap. He can get preeeetty darn sensitive about those kind of life questions, y'know? I think I get where he's coming from because if all lives were equal he wouldn't be treated like such in the orphanage.
Kin :: What’s their role among their relations? Do they consider others family?
Kou is the 2nd oldest in the Mukami family. His role differs depending on who he interacts with, so I'm not sure... But-- Now, here's one thing that's important to Kou's life- his brothers. Heck, the Mukamis have such a strong brotherly bond [especially compared to the Sakamakis who despise each other, and even try to kill each other]- and they were all adopted brothers since they all met at the same orphanage. Though, the thing is, if it weren't for looking out for each other, ect, they might as well be dead pretty much. Even Karlheinz questioned Kou if he trusted people, and he replied with 'of course, I trust Karlheinz and Ruki, Yuma, and Azusa'... And when Karlheinz questions 'even humans', he just said 'well...'. So, Kou really has no trust for /anyone/ except for those four [and that makes me very :^((( ].
