夏ですねぇ。学名の「オーラツム」は、黄金色の意味で、花びらに入る黄色い筋に由来。日本固有種。本来は紀伊半島以北の本州に自生種らしいですが、・・・

The Brachypelma auratum (also called Mexican Flame knee) is a tarantulaendemic to the regions of Guerrero and Michoacán in Mexico. It is similar in appearance to the Brachypelma smithi, albeit slightly darker. Unlike B.smithi it has red “knees” (B.smithi has orange)
