Matthias was kicking up rubble in the abandoned districts. He was seeing if there was anything worth salvaging from the recent wreckage. The buildings a bit further away from where Matty and he lived had fallen due to old age. He was curious as to what could be in the rubble, he didn’t really explore the buildings until they had fallen down, for safety reasons.

Turning over a rather large piece of rubble, he found some old book shelves, score! Looking over the books and flipping through the pages, he was unaware of another presence around him.

What's Aurelia been up to the past year? :)

lemme tell you she has been through some shit

She went on a bit of a vacation to find her family (whom she hasn't seen in 12 years). She met her sister, Iris, who kind of hated her because of the shit her disappearance caused (she was taken from her home when he was 6).

She found out that her parents had gone missing shortly after she had, and Iris had been adopted by a theocratic family (who were still willing to help them). I don't want this to get too long so to make a long story short: the government had killed her parents, and then Iris and her adoptive parents were killed for helping Aurelia.

So ye she's a bit of a wreck
