Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?
Plants are hit or miss. She doesn’t pick ones that are too high maintenance. As a teenager, she liked to keep busy. As she got older, she struggled (and still does) a lot with mental health, and plants that needed immediate attention when something wasn’t their way would get killed off and make her sad. She’s very attached to the bamboo plant that sits on her desk, as it’s the oldest and most sturdy one she’s ever owned.
Pets she can take care of, though she’s never really had any of her own. She’s rather fond of cats, but the ones she has are technically her step-brother and step-father’s. Living things that can physically bother you when they need food or something are a lot easier for her to care for.
Children... are complicated. Navi does not think she’s good with children, and they kind of make her nervous, especially younger ones. Once she feels she can talk to them more as a peer or younger sibling, she’s a lot more comfortable with them, and she’s pretty responsible! She doesn’t have very strong maternal instincts and has never really been around younger relatives or anything, so she tends to avoid them. If she were to become a mother, I think she’d actually be a good one with the right partner and/or support system---but it could VERY EASILY go wrong, and on some level she’s probably aware of that as well.
Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Will they give one, and what about?
Uh... no. Unless she has something very important she thinks she should say, Navi avoids making speeches regardless of audience size. If pressured to make one, her mind will probably go blank, and you will probably not like whatever comes out of her mouth, because she tends to have some trouble reading the room.
Name one thing their parents taught them.
Navi’s mom actually taught her a lot about nutrition, advice that she pretty purposefully ignores. She was not good at eating her veggies as a kid.
