@firewvlker — ben & rory
it’s an average night for ben; working late hours, and returning alone to a five star hotel on the opposite coast. he’s got more money than he knows what to do with and yet the company puts him up with first class flights and hotel suites, all expenses paid. walking through the lobby and taking the elevator was all a bit of a blur in his mind — he was exhausted, running on just a few hours sleep followed by twelve hours at the office for no real reason other than having an excuse not to socialize. he wasn’t the type for it.
the elevator dinged and he already had his tie is undone, slipping it off of his neck as he stepped into his suite. there was the faint sound of the tv coming from the other room, and the brief flashes of light and color were the only thing that illuminated his path since the curtains were closed on the extravagant view of the city. must not have turned it off, he mused internally, not giving it another thought. the tie was tossed on to the sofa, immediately followed by his jacket and shirt as he made his way toward the bedroom. all he wanted to do was get started downloading the witcher on his laptop (he’d finally reached it in his backlog) so it’d be ready when he took the hot shower he’d been craving for hours. when he arrived in the bedroom however, well, it was clear to see he was startled. briefly. a beautiful woman in his bed, wearing his robe? he knew what this was, or, he thought he did, but as he racked his brain he couldn’t figure out a way the boys would have pulled it off. she wasn’t an escort, he was fairly certain. too bad.
“so are you going to start talking or do i just call security now?”
