frankly its quite indicative of this website and the people using it that when the (while unintentional (in the sense that it made use of a stereotype that went by completely unquestioned) but still worth pointing out) fatphobia in a popular post on here was criticized, the overwhelming response was to childishly dogpile the commenter who first pointed out the fatphobia by making jokes out of the way they phrased the comment, as opposed to perhaps take one second to consider why it might be useful to point out places where fatphobia seeps into every corner of life, and why you feel the need to make fun of someone for pointing it out.
