Hadrian X, the commercial version of the robotic bricklayer created by the Perth-based robotic technology company FBR Ltd has completed its first house in less than three days.

It’s only a matter of time before a lot of currently manual jobs on building sites are replaced by robots. Although, local council regulations will require some modification when this is introduced on a mass scale. I can’t see many councils (or neighbours) being happy to have robots working 24/7 - although if it only takes a few weeks to construct a house rather than the current 9-12 months one could argue the short term pain would be a more desirable option.
