It was usually an unspoken rule that whenever someone was wearing earbuds, it was best not to disrupt said person. Though Edward didn’t even think about it, after hearing what he did. And seeing how Rhea was the person closest by, he was going to say something to her. He glanced over at her, so he could give her his full attention.
“I don’t know if I can repeat the noise,” he started. “Though, I can say it was some kind of scream. But it definitely didn’t sound like a human scream.” Perhaps it wasn’t human, and it was something outside, but for it to screech as loud as it did, or at least loud enough for Edward to hear, something was wrong.
