Are the Austasys sisters the ruling force of their kingdom? Do they like the idea of technically ruling their close friends? Additionally, would they have dominion on over people from another dimension?

Aura is next in line to rule Desperation, however her father is still king for the time being. he loves his daughter, dearly, but she needs to grow up a little bit and cut the number of hissy-fits she has in half before he decides to step down. 

neither Aura or Tenyuta have much of a problem with it! they don’t necessarily like it, per se, but they don’t really have an issue with it either. most of their friends are pretty good about following the kingdoms laws and any given orders so it doesn’t really bother them! (most of their friends technically work for the law anyways so)

and yes, they technically would. even if said person from another dimension might disagree, as long as they are on Desperation’s land they must abide by it’s rules.

Can Aura and a Stein fight if they need to?

Stein is completely capable of defending herself! she’s no were near physically strong as Grim or Howl, but she creates a lot of tonics and potions that help to keep enemies at bay. on top of that, even if she is harmed she can heal herself with ease and could prove to be more difficult to kill than you would think.

Aura is technically able to fight if needed, but that’s in dire circumstances. royal lineage holds a strong and ancient magic that gives princesses various magical abilities that allow them to defend their kingdoms when needed. this usually takes up a LOT of magic and typically leaves said princess bed ridden for weeks. the Austasys family in specific have a transformative magic that allows them to shift into the form of a dragon. but aside from her ability to transform, Aura has no formal training in defending herself. but she’ll always have Tenyuta to look after her and protect her!

What were the early lives of the Austasys sisters like?

i’m assuming you mean before Okali was born! 

Tenyuta and Aura had excellent childhoods; it’s kind of hard not to when you’re the princesses of the kingdom of all kingdoms. Aura spent a lot of her childhood playing dressup and reading romance novels, whereas Tenyuta liked to spend a lot of her time playing with toy swords and exploring the outskirts of the castle in search of ‘bad guys’.
