How do they meet? Noah and Elaine are five when they properly meet each other. They’re in the same Kindergarten class and Noah is reading a book on the playground when Elaine comes over and starts bothering him and he ignores her the entire time.
Who developed romantic feelings first? Noah is definitely the one to understand that the feelings he has towards her are romantic. Elaine is too slow for that.
Who is their biggest “shipper?” For a while it’s Maia, but eventually they’re too insufferable and then it’s easily their parents. They’ve watched their relationship from the very beginning and they just want their kids happy!!!!
When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances? Prom night. They find themselves heading towards Noah’s spot, which has become theirs, upon leaving the event. Elaine confesses her feelings and Noah is quick to assure her that he feels the same way, but that he got accepted into Harvard. Elaine tells him that he should go, which is what he’d been waiting for to officially accept his spot. He’s the one who leans in first.
What was their first official date? Noah refers everyone who asks him this question to Elaine, who says it’s the first time they held hands.
How do they feel about double dates/group dates? They prefer being alone (because Noah prefers being alone), but occasionally they’ll go out on double dates with Maia and Oliver.
What do they do in their down time? Most of the time it’s Elaine quietly sitting next to Noah while he’s studying, reading, etc. Lots of cafe dates. In high school, they spend a lot of time at the ice cream parlor or their spot.
What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like? Their parents have been waiting for this moment for as long as they can remember but they don’t do or say anything out of the norm. It’s just a nice dinner!!!
What was their first fight over and how did they get past it? What to set the thermostat which is also the stupidest fight. They find a comfortable temp that appeases both of them.
Which one is more easily made jealous? Neither? They’re pretty secure. Even when they aren’t together.
What is their favorite thing to get to eat? They don’t really have a joined favorite??? Noah will take Elaine for ice cream whenever she asks and for a long while all they can really afford is take-out or pasta because it’s easy to have leftovers of either.
Who’s the more cuddly one? What’s their favorite cuddling position? Elaine is the more tactile of the two, but Noah doesn’t like a lot of physical contact so they don’t generally cuddle. When they do, it’s Elaine curled up against his side.
Are they hand holders? They hold fingers more than they hand hold but I think that still counts so yes???
How long did they wait before sleeping together? What’s the circumstances? It wasn’t until a handful of months after they moved to Seattle together. It’s probably nearly winter and it’s a night they have to themselves because Noah’s finished homework early enough.
Who tops? Noah because it’s just a fact that Elaine wouldn’t.
What’s the worst fight they’ve ever gotten into? Something regarding finances right after they have Vi.
Who does the grocery shopping and the cooking? They both do, but Elaine does most of the grocery shopping because Noah is always on campus (in class or working). Noah does more of the cooking because if it was up to Elaine she’d have ice cream for dinner with coffee on the side.
Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness? Noah. Elaine is a mess and is constantly losing all her belongings, but Noah always ends up picking up after her and finds everything.
Who proposes? Noah. They’re pretty traditional when it comes to a lot of things??? Surprisingly??? Noah asks her parents if they’re okay with it, runs his idea proposal idea by Oliver, etc.
Do they have joined Bachelor/Bachelorette parties or seperate? They really do try to gun for a joined one but because Maia is the one to plan Elaine’s Bachelorette night, they end up having separate parties.
Who is the best man/maid of honor? Any other groomsmen or bridesmaids? Oliver is best man and Maia is maid of honor. There aren’t any other groomsmen or bridesmaids.
Big Ceremony or Small? Small. It’s mainly their family and closest friends, but they do invite a few peers from high school.
Do they have a honeymoon? If so, where? They spend their honeymoon in London because it’s Noah’s #1 dream city to visit and Elaine loves him.
Do they have children? How many? Technically they have three, but Elaine says they have five because Spin and Daisy are their dog children.
