So ... yes way Frosé even on #nationalwatermelonday!!! I was invited to taste the new menu at the newly opened @kickedupgrub which transformed from Sicilian based @maninpastarestaurant into a wide array of culinary adventure. The breakfast and baking are born of an Asian and French fusion from married Chef’s Steffi and Charles. Lunch and dinner menus are presented by Chef Sam who is Sicilian by birth and his long time partner Lynda who eats only a plant based diet. The result is a fantastic smorgasbord of fusion and tastes that will appeal to everyone in your party no matter how large. Shown here is the Watermelon Frosé. It’s made of watermelon vodka, rosé and simple syrup. Fresh watermelon is muddled into the bottom and then the Frosé is added on top. And while on the subject of rosè, swipe left to see the complimentary bread board that is presented to the table when you go in for breakfast or brunch. It consists of in house made croissants on a board with homemade raspberry jam and wait for it......... homemade ROSÉ jam 🙏🏻. We haven’t even moved past the breadboard and I have so much more to show you of this fascinating restaurant.
