🗳 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆‼️ Here is a guide to the ballot that a friend shared and I wanted to pass it along on all of my platforms. 💙 . No candidate is perfect. Joe Biden is certainly problematic. I am not particularly proud to vote for him, but I will be proud to vote that narcissist out of office. 🍊👨🏻🦳🪰 . As a teenager who witnessed the Twin Towers fall in school on live tv and the Iraq war that ensued, I didn't think I could be any more angry at the government than I was at age 16. 𝗛𝗔 𝗛𝗔! *𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟯𝟬-𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴* 😅 . They say you get more conservative as you age, but I think you just get more angry at the government being all up in your business and there's different variations of that experience. Rich Conservatives don't like govt telling them to "please include women/POC and give the less fortunate some of the billions of dollars that you hoard for no reason"... and the Liberal Working Class is all like standing in the street quietly with a sign 🪧 "please can I just continue to exist and have autonomy over my body and maybe clean air/water for my children thx" 🌎 and the govt be like STOP RIOTING yOu ArE hUrTiNg ThE fEeLiNgS oF tHe PoLiCe ChIeF😢🚨🚔 . I got so angry about this that I broke quarantine as I was reopening and protested about it. I got the physical demonstration part out of my system. Now is the time for the rest of the work... because frankly the demonstration means nothing if you opt out of democratic process. Think of all the people who can't vote like the undocumented, people with felonies, and 16 year olds. Vote for them, if not yourself. 🗳 . 16 year old me had to wait 2 more years to vote, and I have been registered to vote since a month after my 18th birthday. In a system that is trying to suppress your vote, going to the polls IS an act of 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼 .
