I forget that dressing alternative is really still not the norm, today I was out with some friends and we had some young kids scream/sing papa roaches 'last resort' at us?? I was unaware at the time it was directed at us until one of my mates pointed it out ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌

For a while there I forgot that alt people are being seen as freaks and young alt people are being bullied once more. Even with the popularity of scene and emo coming back in online places.

For reference none of the people I was with were even dressed particularly strongly we just had lots of layers of black (it's officially winter now in Australia)
