Welcome
Hi everyone! or anyone who cares, i guess. Lol. My name is Lizy and I’m spending this semester (Spring 2017) studying abroad. Since I’m rather shy, I decided to challenge myself to share all my adventures with the world. Also, I though this would be a fun way to record everything, instead of just writing a travel journal.
So, the basics: I attend Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH, and since the end of January, I have been living and attending classes in a renovated 14th century Carthusian monastary in Gaming, Austria with about 150 other students from my school. On weekends, I get to travel throughout Europe. I just got back this evening from a 10 day pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi (my school is super Catholic, so expect large doses of that among my escapades). Over the next week or so, I will try to bring you up to speed on everything I’ve done so far.
