When I was younger and I read a fanfic that was abandoned without notice I used to think that it was because the author lost interest in the story, but now I mostly just think it means they’ve died.

It was reported that the creator of Rurouni Kenshin, Nobuhiro Watsuki will be fined for possessing child pornography.
A status update on the future of Rurouni Kenshin as a whole, including the live action movies. It’s all dead now due to Author Existence in Prison. Nobuhiro Watsuki’s stuff was searched by police and he has been BUSTED big time.
After several months in court starting back October when he was arrested, Nobuhiro has been found guilty and may face prison for a year as well as 1 million yen in losses from Japanese government penalty fines.
