4, 8, 11, 25, 28, 44, 47, 50, 57. Or whichever ones of those you wish.
4. What is your favourite word? - I don’t have one, I don’t think. When I test out pens, I tend to write the word ‘conchiglie’ for some reason, but I don’t feel very strongly about it (the word or the pasta) so I have no idea why....
8. What do you label yourself as? - Depends on the context. I try to avoid publicly labelling myself - e.g. I deliberately don’t share identity/illness ‘labels’ in social media bios because I have complicated thoughts about it (both as an act, and for its potential implications e.g. people trying to police whether you’re ‘allowed’ to have/share an opinion on something, questioning whether you’re ‘really’ [x], things like that). I’ve recently been participating in one or two discord servers where you’re asked to share information about aspects of your identity so that you can be assigned ‘roles’ within that server, and honestly that has made me really uncomfortable and I’d rather not have done it. Outside of social media, I don’t find a lot of use for labels in day to day life - I often participate in communities without explicitly defining the demographic within that particular community I ‘fit’, e.g. engaging with LGBT or trans stuff without explicitly sharing my sexuality or gender. I share diagnostic labels I’ve accumulated when they’re of practical relevance, but rarely otherwise. It might sound like I have a lot in common with those ‘labels are for clothes, not people!!!’ types, but I don’t think I do. Basically, it’s just that I almost never publicly assert aspects of my identity in terms of labels (if that makes sense?). So it might sound a bit like I’m avoiding the question, but it’s only because I avoid labelling myself in most contexts, so it wouldn’t really be representative if I started listing things here.
11. Favourite age you’ve been so far? - I’m not hugely attached to any specific number, but probably the age I currently am? Simply because I don’t really ‘miss’ being any particular age, other than certain times I’d kind of like to revisit and do things a little differently, but I think that’s a separate issue.
25. You just found £77.55! How are you going to spend it? - (converted to GBP because screw US-centrism) it’s going straight into my bank account - I don’t earmark money for specific things (with the sole exception of the money that’s currently in my bookcase at home, that I got from my aunt for my 21st to spend on tickets for the Harry Potter studio tour).
28. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into place? - Assuming it’s deserted other than occupants who are willing to be a part of this society, probably something boring about respect for others/the environment.
44. What do you want to be when you graduate? - well considering I’ve just graduated..! - I don’t have any specific ideas, but I’d like to do something that involves continuing to learn new things, and that is relevant to what I’ve been doing over the past couple of years (philosophy/ethics in science and medicine).
47. If you could ask your future self one question, what would it be? - Would I be going to them, or would they be coming back in time to me? If it’s a situation like putting a message in a time capsule to be opened in 50 years, it would probably be something about whether I have any regrets. If it involves actual time travel (so future me can actually talk to current me), it would be something to do with whether there’s anything I should keep an eye out for in the next few years (e.g. if future me doesn’t want to miss an opportunity, if there’s something I should do to prepare for my situation in the future).
50. What is the most unusual conversation you’ve ever had? - It depends on how you define ‘unusual’, I suppose. When I worked in a nursing home I used to talk to the people with advanced dementia about things that made very little sense in the context.
57. What is the last thing you drew a picture of? - Aside from random doodles, probably the bookmark I drew depicting one of @my-my-herecomethefuzz‘s OCs!
