We went to a youth fishing clinic hosted by the @coparkswildlife and @cityofalamosa Parks and Recreation. We learned how to tie a cinch knot, how to identify fish, casting, and something else that I missed out on because we swapped kiddos right at the end of that. We were unsuccessful this round, but did walk away with spiffy new poles and eagerness to take more trips out. This is practice casting. Middle Bubs and Big Bubs both caught at least one plastic fish. Baby Bubs was unsuccessful, but did learn a lot. Middle Bubs not pictured because he was in a different group. Though Big Bubs wasn't given a group number originally. I think because of how tall he is, people assume he is older than he actually is.
