Hi Ginger I sent an ask a little while ago, but it seems like it got buried. It was basically to do with your superhero stories, as king what decades and countries they were each set in.
I’ve been sitting on this question for a little bit because it probably requires a more expansive answer than I have time to give atm
however
in the interests of procrastination:
the Golden Age: WW2/1950s era heroes and villains, disappeared all at once during the late 50s, one of the world’s greatest unsolved mysteries
the New Era: kickstarted by Ace and Avarice in the 2010s, the resurgence of heroes and villains in the public eye, bigger than established agencies and criminal networks could contain from the public eye
the Second Gen (the era of most of my book ideas): protegees/adopted kids of Ace and Avarice, the first generation of capes brought up in a world used to heroes and villains, a time of great legislative change and new hero/villain agencies/teams popping up world wide, the fall of the corrupt American Heroes League
misc stories: civilians, agents and other non-heroes living their lives throughout the decades of cape-centred chaos
the stories are mostly set in North America and the UK, though some stories such as Runaway Lesbians cross huge amounts of geographical ground from the Australian outback to metropolitan Paris. I would love to set more in different countries such as China, Nigeria, Russia, etc. but I would prefer to have at least been to one city in countries I’m writing about to gain more of a ~feel~
hope this all makes sense! <3
