“Who is he?” Brienne asked after the fourth time this happened.
Sansa wrinkled her nose. “Jaime Lannister. He’s one of those guys who graduated a while ago but he keeps showing up to college parties because he can’t cope with adulthood.”
Brienne wrinkled her own nose. “Oh. Why is he...doing whatever he’s doing?”
Sansa shrugged. “Who knows. Probably something that was cool when he actually went to school here and he’s trying to bring it back.” She paused. “That, or he’s into you.”
Brienne gave a nervous laugh. “I don’t think that’s likely.”
Sansa gave her a sly smile. “Oh, we’ll just see about that.” She left Brienne’s side and wove her way through the crowd until she found Jaime. A mortified Brienne watched Sansa confront him, and then both of them turned to look at her. To Brienne’s even greater mortification, Jaime approached her.
“This is my number,” he said, and she almost rolled her eyes when she saw that he had a business card. No business on it--just his name, phone number, and the subtitle “Sex God Extraordinaire”. “You should text me if you want. Or don’t. It’s up to you.” With a wink, he moved away.
Brienne stared at the card.
“You got his number!” Sansa squealed as soon as she rejoined her. “You got a hot guy’s phone number!”
“I certainly got a phone number,” Brienne ceded.
“You’re gonna text him, right?” Sansa demanded.
Brienne pocketed the card. “Maybe.” But she knew she would, even if it was just to see if he was always this lame.
