Biden Tells Auto Worker “You’re Full of S***, Shushes Female Aide
Joe Biden told an auto worker in Detroit that he was “full of s***” when confronted about his gun control agenda, and then argued that he supports the 2nd amendment. When a female aide tried to lead him away, he “shushed” her, saying “Men are talking.” Then in parting, he told the auto worker he’d like to “slap “him in the face.”

“Oshawa Union Meet, Calls Strike Vote,” Toronto Star. October 8, 1940. Page 03. ---- Emergency Meeting Wednesday Night Will Act on Members’ Decision ---- Special to The Star Oshawa, Oct. 8. - A strike vote of the 3,000 employees of General Motors plants in Oshawa will be taken Wednesday. This decision was reached at a mass meeting last night of local 222, U.A.W.A. An emergency meeting will be held Wednesday night to act on the verdict of the membership.
A statement from union headquarters said about 1,000 members endorsed a recommendation of the bargaining and executive committee that the 78 workers in the body room who walked out Friday noon should not return to work until the company settles grievances.
‘Speakers at the meeting pointed out that the company had many times violated the spirit of the agreement and particularly, in this instance, by not giving an answer within three days of the required notice given by representatives of that department,’ the statement charged.
‘The feeling was also expressed that the company had threatened discrimination by its statement that all workers who walked out in the body department would be discharged and that the company would discontinue domestic production and revert to war orders, hiring only those they describe as loyal employees.’
No comment was forthcoming from H. J. Carmichael, vice-president and general manager, but it was learned a company statement would be issued later.
