Why is new tech so dead set on believing that bilinguals do not exist?
The fucking creepy YouTube autodub either translates English videos to Italian or viceversa. There's no option you can click that says "I actually speak both of these". And there's no way to disable it with official means.
I understand spoken French pretty well too but three languages is a lost cause.
YT language tools are literally a super wonky and warped ladder that I might, if I am ready to accept the risk, use to reach something from the higher shelves, except it was nailed to the floor, so all it does is it makes reaching things that have always been within my reach less convenient.
Look YT, you miserable cunt, I have been using you to watch shit in English ever since you started existing because I, in fact, understand fucking English!!! I do not need English-language videos to have their titles badly auto-translated, and I most certainly do need repulsive AI autodubbing!!!
However, if it is something you are set on doing, at least start suggesting content created in languages I do not understand!!!
