Developed as a collaboration under the Autonova project by coachbuilder Sibona-Basano, the NSU Autonova GT was designed by Pio Manzù and Michael Conrad. Presented at the 1964 Frankfurt Motor Show, it was based on the NSU Prinz 1000 TT, featuring a rear-mounted 1085cc engine. The concept was intended as a functional, fun-oriented, compact car that challenged traditional, rigid styling.
